**BOOK REVIEW** When I Fall (The Alabama Summer Series Book Three) by J. Daniels

About the book:

For the past nine years, I’ve kept my heart as far away from my dick as possible.

Those two can’t be anywhere near each other. They don’t play nice, and one of them undoubtedly winds up getting hurt.

Not my dick. My dick is good.

The women I take home know exactly what they’re getting from me—sex. Nothing more. At least, that’s what’s supposed to happen. The sweet brunette from Kentucky I set my sights on tonight shouldn’t have been any different. I had her right where I wanted her. Where I needed her. But when my past comes walking into McGill’s pub, the woman in my arms decides to take things to a whole new level, putting me into a situation I never saw coming.

My heart is about to get fucked. My dick can sit this one out.

Beth Davis has been alone for a while now, having to depend on a guy who didn't treat her right. But that's about to change, she's leaving Kentucky and heading to Ruxton, Alabama to be with a aunt and uncle she never knew she had. She's ready for a new start, to a have family and be around people who will care about her. Once there Beth slowly starts to live a life where she is happy and she can be indepent. A run in with a sexy man at her aunt and uncles bar, set Beth on a path that she is excited to go down. Reed Tennyson is someone she would love to get to know. Only problem, he doesn't do commitment. No relationships, and no kissing. But man oh man did they share one hell of a kiss. Beth is intrigued by this man. She wants to break down this wall he has built and get to know him. But she has to work hard to get Reed to open up.

Reed Tennyson has been hurt badly by his ex, left jaded and bitter. He vowed to never get into a relationship again. Only one night stands. When he spotted Beth Davis in his favorite bar he couldn't have expected the sweet, and beautiful women with her nose stuck in a book to turn his life upside down. A instant connection is made when he sat down to talk to her. With his ex flaunting her engagement in his face. Beth Davis (from McGills) pretending to be his girlfriend, matchmaking friends, and lots of booze, Beth and Reed set out on a crazy ride.

Who knew Reed Tennyson was a dirty talking Alpha Male!!

Hot damn is this book hot. The chemistry between Beth and Reed is amazing. I loved every second of this book. It's funny and sexy, and the love that flows off the pages between these two, rival Ben & Mia as my favorite couple. (Ben Kelly still has my heart though ;) ) Reed is jaded from his past relationship, but he learns to start opening his heart and letting Beth close. Beth is a sweet girl who just wants love and family. And she gets a lot of that with this group of friends.

These Bama Boys just keep getting hotter and hotter!
