Tessa Kelly is a loud and wild women. She says whats on her mind. She is a tell it like it is person. And when she wants something she'll go for it. She loves with all her heart. Tessa is a good sister to Ben, a best friend to Mia & Reed, and a fun aunt to Nolan. And she wants to be Luke Evans one and only. They have a up and down relationship. Hooking up for months now, Tessa feels she wants more. But feels like Luke will never want what she wants. Tessa, keeping a big secret decides its best to break things off with Luke and move on. But moving on from Luke is not something Tessa thinks she can ever do.
Luke Evans didn't have a good up bringing. So he has a guard up. The only people he has ever let close is his best friend, his partner, Ben. And Tessa. But with
Tessa it was suppose to be fun. Luke denies and pushes away any kind of deep feelings he feels towards Tessa. He doesn't believe in love. So he can't let Tessa into his heart anymore than she already is. But he may not have a choice when it comes to her. There is just something there. And he may be willing to open up for her, buts its going to take a lot of work.
Tessa and Luke drove me mad! I just wanted to jump in the book and yell at them to just be together all ready. But it wasn't that simple for these two to be together. They had to go through a lot and work on themselves to be worthy of a solid relationship.
Tessa is a fun character. Spunky. You never knew what was going to come out of her mouth. Tessa may have a tough, nothing can hurt her attitude. But with her feelings for Luke you really see her insecurities and her vulnerable side. You feel the pain she went through putting herself out there. Luke is a some what broken guy. Who really buries his feelings down. He is a tough one to get through to. He is just as ever bit Alpha Male as Ben. But his insecurities start come out and you start understand why he would he push Tessa away. Both Tessa & Luke grow so much through out the story.
You know its a damn good book when your emotions are all over the place when reading it.
