Lucy Sinclair is an amazing single mother, a hard worker trying to grow her design business, and give her daughter, Angie an amazing life. But something has been missing for a long time, love, she tries to deny it, all her family see's it, but Lucy is to strong, to hard headed to admit, that she's lonely. Seeing her brothers living lives with great women, has Lucy longing to find a love of her own. But fear of somehow letting her daughter down, insecurities from a bad past relationship, make Lucy anything but trust worthy when it comes to her heart and letting a man in. But when she meets one of her daughters hockey coaches, the sexy, somewhat dorky, Benji, Lucy is worried that keeping her guard up and distance from her heart wont be so easy, not with this man trying to break through her cold exterior and get to know her. 

 Benji Paxton has been through so much in his life, has dealt with lots of pain, has hit rock bottom, but survived. And despite all that he has gone through, he's came out of it all a great & happy person. He's a hard worker, a loyal friend, and all around great guy. But he'll always miss two important people from his past, and carries around a ton of guilt, but he knows he wants to love again. Only problem is he's not so smooth with the ladies, awkward really. But when he lays eyes on Lucy Sinclair, with her attitude, and standoffish personality, Benji see's past all that to the beautiful, loving mother that she is and he will work damn hard to have her give him a chance. Because he knows he's meet his match and he doesn't want to let her go. 

Oh man the feels when reading this story! Benji, Lucy & Angie, have stole my heart. Their love story is not one to miss. Lucy, fierce, lovable Lucy. A beautiful mother, who loves strongly, and fights for her family. I couldn't get enough of this stubborn women. And Benji, oh Benji, there is no way anyone who reads this book wont fall in love with this caring, passionate, loving, dorky, sexy man. Benji & Lucy's story is one to rival all the others in this series.
