When a psychic tells Natalie Nixon her life is about to be upended by a mysterious stranger, she laughs it off. After all, she has everything she’s ever wanted—a successful bakery, the perfect boyfriend, and the keys to her dream house.
Who could possibly make her want to throw all that away?
Then Miles Haas comes back to town.
But he’s no stranger—they’ve known each other since high school. Plus, he’s only around for the summer, he’s still a shameless playboy, and he makes a living writing articles for a men’s magazine with titles like 'Should You Bang the Boss’s Daughter? A Flowchart' and 'Butt Stuff for Beginners: A Field Guide.'
He’s not the man of her dreams, and she’s not about to abandon everything she’s worked so hard for just for a little fun. Except he makes her laugh like no one else, smells like heaven, and wears panty-melting glasses.

(Possible Spoilers)
Natalie Nixon never expected a night out with her sisters and a some what drunken, fortune telling to turn her life upside down. Natalie is a hard worker, she dose not have time for alot of fun or spontaneous moments. She runs her own business and never takes time for herself. She's sensing the ten year long relationship she's is crumbling and with the returning of Miles Haas, her best friend, a friend she hides her attraction to, she wonders if the wacky fortune teller was on to something.
Miles Haas is good at sex, he lives it, writes about it, and brags about it. He's a know playboy, travels all over, never settling down and not growing up. Forever a bachelor. But seeing Natalie again, stirs old feelings that Miles has pushed down. To keep those feelings away, he sets out to show Natalie a good time, to break her out of her comfort zone and show her whats she has been missing.
Both Natalie & Miles are set in their ways. They both enjoy their lives, but are missing things in it that would make it even better. Along the way each character helps one another grow and to see what they were missing out on. Great chemistry between the Miles and Natalie, lots of funny remarks and banter. And lots of spice. These two sure heat up the pages. Miles was a great, sexy, lead guy. I loved his one liners, "Cinnamon Buns" he was a great, funny friend, who loved to push Natalie to try new things. Natalie was also a great character. She had to grow and find herself outside of work and a failing relationship. She really opened up to having fun and joining Miles on a crazy adventure.
Great story, with characters that pull you in each chapter. Can't wait to read more by Melanie Harlow.
