Phoebe Page has returned to Lover's Leap Colorado. She has decided to have some fun, be a little wild, to embrace life more. Its a way to remember her sister. Living in and fixing up her home, running her curiosity shop. But returning home she didn't expect to fall into the arms of Colton Brody, wounded marine, fireman, her best friends older brother, the guy she has been crushing on most of her life. But with the help of her clumsy habits and this new carefree take on life, Phoebe sees a opportunity to explore and have some fun with this crush of hers.
Colton Brody has been back to Lover's Leap for awhile now. Wounded and discharged form the Marines, with a job at the firehouse, Colton just wants to prove to himself and the marines that he is ready to get back into the action. With a chance to do that, Colton isn't looking for any distractions or ties to keep him in town. He's worked to hard on his goals. But with the return of Phoebe Page, Colton starts to think that maybe leaving is not everything he thought it would be. Not when the accident prone, humping unicorn pj, zombie slipper wearing, women falls into his arms.
I have SO much LOVE for this book. It wasn't just funny, it was hilarious! I laughed so much while reading Good Girl VS. Bad Boy. Phoebe Page is one witty, funny, character. She was so much fun to read about. Her luck isn't the greatest, but I loved how she just rolled with it and owned up to her not so good luck. She's a go getter, determined, and sort of vulnerable when it comes to love. Now for Colton Brody, my oh my, Colton is another one to add to the Sexy, Alpha, Book Boyfriend list, ;) This sexy, wounded marine, firefighter, hooked me from the first chapter. He's funny, and sweet, and SEXY, and a total alpha male. SWOON!
I loved every interaction between Phoebe & Colton. They made for such a entertaining story. It is equal parts sweet and extremely sexy. Funny and heartwarming. A true romantic comedy. I am officially a fan of Jessie Evans, and I cant wait to read about the next Brody brother.
