Blurb:
The team’s resident linebacker, Jerimiah, has gotten used to making people uncomfortable. He’s huge, intimidating and doesn’t have a lot to say. Until he meets Birdie. Now he can’t seem to stop talking, if only so she’ll say more. And stay a little bit longer. To be fair, she doesn’t really have a choice, since they just got locked in the basement together at a frat party…
My Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I Loveee Birdie & Jeremiah! These two are so much fun. Super sexy with crazy chemistry. Their story is quick, lots of fun, intense and so very sexy.
I loved Birdie in Runaway Girl, so I was SO happy to read her getting her happily ever after in Halfway girl. She's a strong women looking to find herself in college while holding on to the memory of her sister. Her struggle to find her own path, and keep her sister alive by doing things she believes her twin would love, is heartaching and beautiful thing to read. And she finds more of who she is and what she wants in Jeremiah's arms.
Jeremiah, big, towering, sweet Jeremiah, with his dirty mouth. I loved this character. Because of his size, he is over looked as a person. People just see his size and not the wonderful man that he is. Caring and protective. His instant connection with Birdie is so fun to read. She sees him, not his size. And his protective nature over Birdie makes him all the more swoon-worthy.
I have been devouring everything by Tessa Bailey, she has easily become one of my top favorite authors. And I can't wait to read more and more by this crazy talented author.

About The Author:
Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.
Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.
She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband of eleven years and six-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.
