Lexi could feel Caleb’s breath on her lips, and his bunched muscles under her palm were hot and hard. She stared at his mouth. He stared at hers. And she decided that if he wasn’t going to look at her breasts, looking at her mouth like he was starving and she was a grilled BLT—his favorite food in the world—was just fine with her. My Review

Lexi and Caleb have spent the past two years parenting together. Lexi is raising her two year old son, Jack and Caleb his four year old niece, Shay. They rely on each other, they have a steady, set, routine. But now with Lexi finding herself living with Caleb, buried feelings start to rise again. Caleb and Lexi have always felt something deeper than friendship for each other, but kept it quite in fear of ruining the good thing they had going on. 

Lexi and Caleb have to decide if its worth giving into the passion that is between them, and growing the life they share even more. Caleb will have to learn to let go of control and Lexi will have to learn to take control, if they have a chance of this new part of their relationship, to succeed.

This take charge, sexy firefighter and strong, big hearted nurse, scorched the pages of this quick, sweet and super sexy read. The bond Lexi and Caleb have was so great to read. I really liked their banter, and each new development of their friendship / relationship. The ups and downs and discoveries of each other made for a really compelling book. I loved the little family they made with the kids, and group of friends who support them. 

Erin Nicholas is a new author to me, and I cant wait to read more of her books.
