An Irresistible Series Standalone
Author: Stella Rhys
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 3, 2018
Blurb
He's the hottest
player in Major League Baseball, the most notorious playboy in all of
Manhattan...
And my fake fiancé
for the next three months.
I was drunk-dialing my ex the night I met him.
Six-three, sexy as sin and so incredibly rude I could smack the asshole
smirk right off his face. Long story short, we got off to a bad start. But when
the tabloids interpret our sparring as Drew Maddox "groveling"
with a "mystery brunette," his agent presents us both a
proposal:
Shacking up as a couple this summer.
It’s an alleged “win-win.” I need to prove to my ex that I'm fine. Drew
needs to prove to his team that he's stable. Thanks to his on-field brawling
and never-ending lady drama, Drew Maddox has suddenly found himself on the
trade block - which means he needs a fast, easy way to show the team that he's
settled down.
Hence this fiancé thing.
Our fights are real, our kisses are fake, and thanks to the nonstop
heat between us, I’m starting to mix up all my signs. But whether it’s real or
fake, there’s one thing I do know:
I’m already addicted.

My Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The bad boy of baseball, Drew Maddox, has met his match.
Evie Larsen is coming off a big breakup, she needs closure, so she can let go of him and try to move forward. She's been a wreak and she's ready to pick herself back up and start new. And that new start comes in the form of tall, tatted, sexy as sin, player for the New York Empires. He's a arrogant athlete, who throws Evie for a loop with just the brush of his lips. And now he's propositioning her with a offer, one she is tempted to take him up on, to get her back on her feet and over her ex. It's a little crazy, and just what she needs.
Drew Maddox is in need of a image make over, or fear the chance of being traded. The Empires are everything to Drew. Baseball is his life and what he's worked every day for. So he's willing to do whatever it takes to stay on his team. Even if that means asking an almost complete stranger to move into his world and pretend to be his fake fiance. He didn't think the gorgeous and sassy woman he found crying over her ex, would be getting deep and deeper under his skin and trying to push down the wall he has carefully built around himself all these years.
The more time Drew and Evie spend pretending, and putting on a show for everyone, the more the lines start to blur. And they are left wondering what is real and what is for show. Both Evie and Drew have pasts they would rather forget, but it shaped them into who they are. This whole fake fiance show was suppose to be the perfect distraction for Evie, and the perfect imagine revamp for Drew, but it all starts to fall into something so much more. And through it all, Drew and Evie are finding something pretty epic together.
My favorite couple in this series! Drew was so damn swoon-worthy. I could not get enough of this closed off, hothead. With his cocky attitude, dirty mouth and alpha ways. And Evie! She was so great! Sassy, fun, a perfect balance of wild and sweet, vulnerable and strong. I want her to be my best friend. And together, my gosh *fans face* these two together were beyond sexy. The chemistry, the connection, the banter, will have you glued to the pages.
Hothead was so much fun to read, lots of sweetness, lots of sexiness, and mixed with angst, baseball and great friends, makes for a book that you'll want to read again and again.

Author Bio
Stella Rhys is an author of contemporary romance and can't
help but write it hot, steamy and borderline filthy (just kidding, it's just
flat-out filthy). Writing aside, she lives for coffee, the Knicks, the Yankees
and cooking recipes way out of her league. She was born and raised in New York
and now lives there with her husband and charmingly entitled fur babies.
