Book Review- On His Knees (A Blasphemy Novel) by Laura Kaye

Getting on his knees makes him question everything…and want even more…

Another failed relationship has lawyer Jamie Fielding confronting the truth—he’ll never be satisfied with any woman until he admits what he needs…to submit and to be used—hard. When a friend invites him to the exclusive Blasphemy club, Jamie is stunned to find everything he ever wanted—in the fierce, ruthless hands of a man.

Psychiatrist Alex McGarry will play with anyone who craves his rough brand of domination, but what he really wants is to settle down. Which makes the submissive male he meets at his club a bad idea—the man might be hot as hell but he’s also new to everything Alex has to offer. Except that doesn’t keep them from coming together again and again, sating every one of their darkest desires.

Master Alex sets Jamie’s whole world on fire and makes him question everything—and that’s good. Because Alex won’t tolerate hiding what they have for long and he wants much more than just having Jamie on his knees...

My Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Alex McGarry, is an intense man, he's know for a long time what he craves and what he wants. And as one of the twelve masters of Blasphemy, a private BDSM club, he can exert power and the control he needs. But lately Alex feels something lacking in his life. He finds himself being distracted, and its effecting him and his part at the club. He almost feels detached from the club, like it's not holding his interest like it once did. He's missing something, and he needs to find what it is. Alex finds himself awaken from his slump, with the arrival of a new potential member of Blasphemy. He is intrigued by Jamie Fielding, with his colorful tattoos, and eagerness to explore and find himself within the walls of Blasphemy. But Alex does not know if he should take the leap and have some fun with Jamie, or let him be and not let himself be to drawn in. But this pull he feels toward the young man, his need to control, take and explore all things with Jamie, may just make the decision for him.

Jamie Fielding, has hid a part of who he is from himself and others for a long time, never really knowing that he was. He's buried down confusing feelings or brushed them aside. But lately Jamie has been crawling out of his skin, trying to piece together who he is and what it is he wants. What he craves. When a chance encounter from a friend leads him to the doors of Blasphemy, his world is turned upside down, and it is just the thing Jamie wanted and needed. Being at Blasphemy, and with Master Alex, who has set his world on fire, is unleashing the desire inside of him that has been boiling under the surface. Jamie knows, that Alex is showing him more than just what his body craves but what he has been been missing from his life and his heart.

On His Knees is hot as hell, the heat factor is push to the max in this book. It's intense, full of fan your face moments. I loved that mixed in with all the erotic moments you feel the emotions of the characters learning who they are or what they need. Their doubts and worries, and their passion for one another. All this made for a quick, super fun, extremely sexy, read. This is my kind of love story, and I'm always excited to see where Laura Kaye takes us next in the world of the Blasphemy series.
