One text can change everything.
Honor Calhoun never thought her life would ever be like the books she writes for a living. One morning while out for a run, she learns not all bad things are plots in novels. Some horrors can actually come true. She faces off with a persistent attacker, holds her own, but in the end is taken hostage and thrown into a hole. In the middle of the woods.
But Honor didn't go down there alone. She took her kidnapper's phone with her. With a spotty signal and a dying battery, her hope is slim.
Nathan Reed is an active duty Marine stationed at a small reserve base in Pennsylvania. All he wants is a calm and uneventful duty station where he can forget the memories of his time in a war-torn country. But a single text changes everything. Nathan becomes Honor's only hope for survival, and he has to go against the clock, push aside his past, and take on a mission for a girl he's never met.
Both of them want freedom... but they have to survive long enough to obtain it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
On her morning run, Honor Calhoun is attacked and dragged into a hole in the woods. Her captor has left her in this hole, with the intent to do who knows what to her. Honor can only imagine all the horrible things awaiting her. Luckily on the way down into this hell, she snagged the bastards phone. But unfortunately there's no signal. All she can think, is how am I going to survive? After passing out from sheer exhaustion, she wakes to a beeping noise. The phone, it has a text, from who? She doesn't know, but this is Honor's chance to get help.
Nathan reed, a Marine, is texting a fellow Marine to see if he's on the way to the poker game, being held by some buddies. When in walks the man, Nathan just texted. Nathan keeps getting messages, asking for "help" and "I have been kidnapped". But the man is here. So who has his phone? Nathan realizes what is really happening, and it's not a joke. He'll have to be calm and play it cool. If he wants to help this poor women, he can't show the kidnapper, that he's on to him. Now Nathan is on a mission to save this women, he tries everything he can think of, but time is running out. He knows he has to get to that hole in the woods, before the other man does.
Honor, cold, hungry and fearing death approaching, tries everything to get out of that hole. She hopes the man, Nathan will come and save her. But how can she be sure he's not helping her kidnapper? But when Nathan comes to the rescue. It's a fight to stay alive, for both of them. Together they have to out smart and out fight her abductor. And once Nathan has Honor safe back home, he takes watch. Nathan isn't about to risk anything happening to her again.
While with Honor, Nathan starts to see what a sweet and beautiful women she is. Independent, a published author, and who can make one hell of a apple pie. The attraction between them is just to strong to ignore. And it's burning hot. It's only been a short time, but Nathan and Honor know they can't deny the feelings developing between them.
Text is a kicka** book. It's got a lot of sexy moments. It's also a real page turner, with loads of action and one very sexy hero! You wont be able to put it down, you'll be holding your breath, while waiting for what will happen next, with each turn of the page.

About the author:
Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.
Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).
Cambria has written within the young adult and new adult genres, penning many paranormal and contemporary titles. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense. A few of her most recognized titles are: Text, Torch, Tryst, Masquerade, and Recalled.
Cambria Hebert owns and operates Cambria Hebert Books, LLC.
