Being back in Linton, Illinois, brings back a lot of memories for Kallie Welch. She grew up here, its home, but at one point she left a big part of herself behind here, her heart. Running into Cross Jacobs is the last thing she can handle right now. But in a small town, running into your ex, is bound to happen. Cross is so much like Kallie remembers, yet a lot has changed. Once the reckless boy, who cared more about a good time, is now a responsible man, with broader shoulders, a purpose, and yet still charming and can make Kallie's heart race a mile a minute.
Cross Jacobs, grew up a lot over the years. He wanted to better himself, and maybe he was hoping one day to prove to the only girl who's ever had his heart, that he was a changed man. With his Kallie girl back in town, now is Cross's shot to win back his girl. But Cross worries that maybe his chance was lost a long time ago. He will have to help Kallie see how great they once were and how epic they could be now.
I love second chance romance's, and Cross is perfect! I loved the world of the Gibson Boy's and to be back in Linton, getting more of the characters stories has me excited for even more. Kallie and Cross, were so sweet, sexy and fun to read. Finding that lost love, growing up, and reconnecting, Cross and Kallie are finding the missing piece of themselves in each other.
A fantastic small town romance, a second chance at happiness. Cross brings lots of swoon-worthy moments and with his sassy Kallie Girl, this makes the perfect novella to relax with.
