They were on the run, hurt and scared, captured, and just looking for a future. And they are staring to find that with the help of the MC that took them in, that saved them. Now that Cora has a second chance, she's ready to embrace it. But her doubts seem to be holding her back. She has dreams, of college, a job, becoming a vet. Cora finds herself lost between wanting to make her dreams a reality, and stuck in her dark past. Cora is holding onto a secret that could break her. But she's just so ready to leave the past in the past, that she doesn't want to give it voice. But her nightmares may soon affect her new life, if she doesn't find a way to break free from it.

 One of the bright things in Cora's new life with the Ravens, is Ben, Sam, and their father Slider. Cora kind of fell into being the babysitter to the boys, and she couldn't be happier. They give her purpose and make her smile. She can't see herself not spending time with this family. And she can't deny the attraction towards Slider. He's a brooding, quite man. But she knows there is a sexy, fun and loving man hidden behind the pain, guilt and scruffy appearance. She can see it in the little moments. In his actions. Cora wants to help mend the broken man she sees. While she finds herself longing to get to know the real Slider, the one slowing trying to crawl his way out from under the pain. But will Cora and Slider have a chance to explore what is brewing between them, when both their pasts could be holding them back. 

Ride Wild is a captivating and beautiful book. Its one big mix of family, full of love, action, and with one hell of a MC. I adore Laura Kaye's writing, its so gripping and entertaining. She brought us a amazing motor cycle club, The Raven Riders are my favorite MC series. Its refreshing, raw and so swoon-worthy.

 Cora is a beautiful, strong character. She's so sweet and loving. Silly and quirky. I loved her big heart, and her journey to take hold of her future and not let her past defy her. And Slider, my heart, this broken man, with his sweetness, sexy alpha side, and love for his sons. He was so great to read about, he carried guilt for so long, let his past rule his future, but with love from those around him, he strived to be a better man, a great father. And together, Cora and Slider were explosive. The connection was so natural, real, and hot! They picked each other up, they healed one another, and they loved. 

I HOPE this isn't the end to this series, I could read about these kick*** men and women, and all the family, love, honor and heart, each of them represents.
