Book Review- Lost (Captive Heart Book One) by Carrie Aarons

About the book:

We knew each other a lifetime ago. And then...

We lost childhoods. We lost opportunities. We lost love.

Fate is giving us another chance. But a chance at what?

Because even though we’ve been brought back to each other under the worst of circumstances…

We are still. So. Damn. Lost.

(Possible Spoilers)

Charlotte Morsey & Tucker Lynch, their story, is not your typical love story, its so much more.

Lost takes us on a ride, full of anger, lust, pain, and love. These two characters will grab a hold of you and demand your attention. I was scrolling the pages on my kindle like crazy, in anticipation of what was going to come next. Charlotte is a women looking for something to shake up her suffocating routine, her safe and boring life. But she never saw Tucker Lynch coming, and he's about to shake up her life in more ways than she could have predicted. Tucker Lynch has always been the star, invincible and always on top. But when his life takes a drastic turn, when he's at the bottom, he becomes desperate and reckless. Together Charlotte and Tucker will have to face the past they shared if they want to make a future together.

Lost is such an intriguing book, so angst filled and captivating. It's one you wont want to put down. The history between these two characters, the way they click, fight, love, and tease, their ups and downs, make for one compelling book.

Quite, lost bookworm Charlotte, grows to find her voice, she starts to take her own path, to live her life the way she wants to. Tucker, bad boy, lost, broken. He's learning what his actions have and could cost him, and he slowly starts to realize that his life could be something great, if he fights for it. And fights for Charlotte.

Lost leaves us with one hell of a cliff hanger, and I'll be on the edge of my seat waiting for where Carrie Aarons takes us next with Charlotte and Tucker.

About the author:

Author of romance novels such as Red Card and the Captive Heart Duet, Carrie Aarons writes sexy, swoony and sarcastic characters who won't get out of her head until she puts them down on a page.

Carrie has wanted to be an author since the first time she opened a book. She loves spinning tales that include dapper men, women with attitude, and the occasional hunky athlete.

When she isn't in what her husband calls a "writing coma", Carrie is freeing up her jam-packed DVR, starting her latest DIY project, or planning her next travel adventure. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, who is more than happy to watch sports while his wife plots love stories.
