Casey Coffield has a growing list of personal flaws he keeps locked away in his head:
He’s never on time.
His list of IOUs to his best friend is endless.
Money is always short.
Goals are never in reach.
Oh, and he’s decided to add college drop-out to that list, too. He doesn’t really think that last one’s such a bad thing, but his family insists it is, so it stays on the list.
On paper, he’s a zero. But in person, when he’s mixing tracks for a sea of bodies at the hottest clubs and parties, he’s downright irresistible. Just-right stubble on his chin, body of a boxer and a smirk that stimulates all the right nerves—women have never been a problem. They flock to his swagger and fall for his charm…fast.
All except for this one.
Purple hair, gray eyes, a raspy voice and sass, Murphy Sullivan is a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll. And her and Casey? They have history. He can’t remember it, but she wrote a song about him—and it’s not exactly a love song. But it is good. Damn good. And uncovering her inspiration just might be the key to solving a few of his shortcomings—not to mention open doors to his own big break in the music industry.
But sometimes dreams get messy when they collide. Sometimes life changes patterns. A past paints the wrong picture and futures get cloudy. The only question that remains is who will you choose when the dust settles—you? Or the girl of your dreams?

I Was Provided A ARC By The Author
(Possible Spoilers)
Murphy Sullivan lives for music, writing songs, playing her guitar, and singing. She has a fear to perform in front of people, but slowly she is coming around to the idea of it, she's found comfort performing on the poorly lit stage at Paul's. Music is her dream and to achieve that dream she'll have to learn to believe in herself and overcome her insecurities. Things become even more complicated when Casey Coffield approaches her, intrigued by a song she may or may not have written about him.
"In your dreams, Casey Coffield."
"In your dreams, Casey Coffield."
He's captivated by the girl singing on that dark stage, a girl singing a song with his name. He's confused at who she is, he can't seem to place her. The more time he spends listening to her sing that song, the more Casey wants, no needs to meet her. He believes they could make amazing music together. His pursuit to find her, leads him to a beautiful girl, with purple hair, and grey eyes. A girl that is bitter toward him, and the mystery to why, will make Casey push her more and more to open up, and along the way he'll help her believe in herself and her music.
"Patience is a murderer of six-foot-one fools desperate to kiss girls who sing like angels and look like my dreams."
Ginger Scott has brought us an amazing book, full of music, love, family, of believing in and following your dreams. In Your Dreams has quickly become my favorite book by Ginger Scott. It's beautiful and captivating. The story comes to life and steals your heart, and leaves it's words etched into your mind. It's a story that you can't forget.
Casey, sweet, lovable, and sexy Casey Coffield, is a character to remember. He may be all over the place at times, a lot to handle, but you can't not love this guy. He's spontaneous, passionate, and loves hard. He grows and becomes a stronger and better version of himself through out this story. I have so much love for him.
Murphy is an amazing female lead. She's funny, sassy, and quite. She dreams big and loves with everything. Her love for her family is beautiful. Her passion for her music is inspiring. And her vulnerability when it comes to opening up to Casey, is something readers can relate with. You'll fall in love with her just as much as Casey.
Together these two will steal all of your attention. The pull between Casey & Murphy is undeniable. It's a slow building love that will capture every readers attention, and you'll be on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what happens next.
"I'll wish for you because wanting you isn't enough and having you is too fleeting."
Love, romance, life, music, family, tears, and dreams, this book mixes all of these things beautifully and leaves you craving more.
