This has been the toughest year of my life. I watched my brother go into the draft without me, my mom got divorced, and the weight of my family’s issues is heavy on my shoulders. Not only for my spot but also my heart. It’s hard to ignore someone like Baylor Moore.

I don’t lose. I can’t. My dad has bred me to be the best in anything I do. I am driven, I am smart, and I am going to be the first woman in the National Hockey League. No two ways about it. I’ve worked too hard. I’ve been through too much not to have what I want. I know I can do it. I will make my dad proud, and no one will stand in the way of that. That is, until I let him in. He scares me. He makes me feel. And he could very well be the one person who can make me want more than just to win.
We both have the same goal. Victory. But how do you compete against the person you want to win? It’s not easy. Love isn’t something you can control. It isn’t like a puck that can be handled by a stick.

We were so worried about what would happen if we fell, but we never thought what could happen in the process of falling. We never saw it coming. But it’s here, and the repercussions are not pretty.

A captivating love story, full of laughs, family & of course hockey.
Jace Sinclair has me .......................!
Jace Sinclair, youngest of the Sinclair boys is ready for a new year at Bellevue. Parties, girls, and kicking butt as the captain of the Bullies. He's juggling being captain, school, and drama with his dad. But hes ready to live up to his brothers legendary player status, and be number one in hockey. His plans are quickly thrown off, when he spots a beautiful girl, with a amazing voice. From that moment things for Jace change. He couldn't be happier to explore these new feelings he's developing for this enticing girl. He promised himself a year of fun and no relationships. But he's all to happy to make a new plan, when it comes to the sassy Avery Rose.
Avery Rose has come to Bellevue to live life. She's ready to experience college, life, and make music. She's ready to be out of the shadows of her hockey playing brothers and a family who barley knows she exists. Making music, singing, and her guitar, is what shes passionate about. She lives and breathes for it. Writing music is what makes her fill whole. Avery has secrets and things in her past she would like to leave there. But that is not so easy when she meets to the charming, sexy, corny pick-up line slinging, hockey player Jace Sinclair. He's a persistent guy. He wants more than just a hook up. But letting him in, letting him get close will be one of the hardest things she has to do.
What an amazing, hold your stomach laughing, grab the tissues for tears, swoon worthy times ten, end for the Bellevue Bullies series! Jace & Avery were a page turning, make you fall in love over and over couple. The banter, the jokes, every kiss, and even the tears make you want to keep reading and reading long after the last page.
A beautiful and emotional story. We don't just get hockey and romance with one funny and awesome family with Autumn, Jude, Jayden, Lucy and Angie. And all the great people who have come into their lives, Claire, Baylor, Marcus and Coach Moore. We get pain, anxiety, and secrets. Hooked By Love touches on strong subjects. Avery is a girl who rose from her darkest moments, fought every day, and learned new ways to love life. I loved how much she fought and how strong she was. I also loved how Jace stood by her side and helped her anyway he could. Both Jace and Avery grew and matured and loved through ever page. And I loved them through every page.
It's bitter sweet to write this review. Knowing the Bellevue series is over. I loved all three of these books, and the stories they brought us. I fell hard for these characters, and I hope we will get to see them again. Hopefully they'll be around in the Assassins Series books to come. ;) I'm not ready to to close the page on any one of the them.
