I love this series so when I read that Tia Louise was giving us all our favorite characters again but with a paranormal twist, i could not wait! And she did not disappoint. It was SO good!
An amazing mix of paranormal creatures, a haunting city setting, and lots of Sexy!
Melissa has run to New Orleans with her best friend Elaine, to find a way to undo a curse. This new life that was forced onto her, is slowly breaking her. She tries to fight her new instincts. To remain like her old self. Elaine promises they will save her. But each day that passes, Melissa finds that harder and harder to believe. When see lays eyes on a dark and mysteriously sexy man in a dark bar, Melissa wasn't expecting her trip to New Orleans to get even more complicated. With every kiss, every touch, she shares with this man, she falls a little deeper. But fear of what she is becoming, of the unknown, doesn't make it easy to get close Derek.
Derek has come to New Orleans to put to rest the pain of his past. On the hunt to find the one who took his wife away. He stops at nothing to get justice. There with his partners, Patrick and Stuart. They will use all their strength and skill to bring down the creatures that roam the city. But one thing Derek didn't expect on this mission was to encounter a beautiful women, one who slowly turned his world upside with just a glance. One Immortal was so much fun to read. To see favorite characters back with a new and intriguing twist. I LOVE vampire books, and this is a another to add to my favorites. It was beautifully written, with new twists and turns added to a story we already love. It didn't feel like you where just reading the original book over again. There was so much more to it. The paranormal elements were really interesting to read, some i was familiar with and some new. The descriptions of the city felt so real and haunting, like you were walking the streets of New Orleans. And the sexiness was so much more in this book. Wow! So good! ;) All of this rolled together made for a great book. I would love to read more of this series as paranormal. It would be lots of fun.
