Brooke Daniels is a sassy, say it like it is type of women. She loves her family, her job, and sex! And she doesn't shy away from it. She knows what she likes. She knows what she wants. And she goes for it. When she sets her sights on the sexy man across the street from her job, Brooke knows shes in for one hell of a good time. But never did she except to find what she did when she went strutting over with a box of cupcakes. Mason King is the first man who will make Brooke see and feel things differently. She will have to deal with these new emotions that Mason stirs up. Brooke digs deep into herself and shows a vulnerability that we haven't seen in previous books. And it gives her character so so much more depth. Brooke is hands down my favorite character in this whole series. She is a spunky and feisty women. She is so damn hilarious. The things that come out of her mouth and being inside that dirty mind of hers makes for such a amazing book. I also loved seeing the more calm and insecure side that she hides from a lot of people. Put all of that together and you get a character that is all around so entertaining to read. She is definitely one of my favorite female characters.
Mason King! Oh Mason King you have come along and stole my heart. Gentle and sweet, vulnerable with such a dirty mouth. And all those Alpha ways. Have him competing for top spot in my heart with Bama Boy "Ben Kelly." Mason recently moved to Chicago to try and make a go at opening a yoga studio. Working and making his business thrive was the only thing on his mind, until a beautiful women offering him cupcakes and then some, burst her way into his life. Mason is very intrigued by Brooke. But hes more for a relationship than a hookup. And trying to convince Brooke to open up to him turns into one crazy ride. I LOVED everything about Mason. He was the perfect mix of Alpha Male, and sweetheart. His need for Brooke, for more than just a hookup, will make you swoon. Hell Mason King will make you SWOON through out this entire book!
Once again J. Daniels brings us a book filled with so much sexiness that i thought my kindle would catch fire. DAMN. She made me blush quite a few times. I also laughed so much while reading. Brooke and Joey apart and together will make you hold your stomach from laughing so much. Also the friendship between Brooke and Joey was so fun to read.
I could talk about this book all day. Seeing everyone we loved back in this book. And getting a new book boyfriend to gush over. I loved how this book ended even though i wanted it to go on forever.
Maybe we'll be getting more books in this series?
