Every time i think i know where the story is going, I'm thorn for a loop and left an emotional wreak. This series, and these characters have found a place in my heart. And every up and down they faced, made me shed tears. You know how good a story is, when you are crying while clutching your kindle. Jovi & Merrick are two main characters that I have rooted for since the beginning. I fell in love with their personality's, and their love for art, for their family & friends, for adventure. And mostly importantly for love. The love these two share is consuming. You drown in it. It's beautiful and hectic, and you never want to see it end.
In Masterpiece Jovi & Merrick face more pain and danger than ever before. They will have to count on that all consuming love to get out, and away, together. Lies & secrets surface and throw the biggest kink in their plans.
Jovi has to decided if the life she planed out over the last couples months, will stay the same or change. She'll have to fight harder than ever to get to her dreams. And a life with Merrick.
Merrick faces lots of sacrifice and pain in this book. His love and devotion for the only women he has ever loved really carries him through the whole story. And makes the decisions he faces a little easier.
Lots of twists, lots of heartache, and lots of tears. But it was still filled with all the McCoy banter, family, and so much love. Masterpiece was the hardest to finish in this series. Because its bitter sweet to see Jovi & Merrick's chapter end. I will miss these characters.
But I'm excited to see where the McCoy brothers take us next.
