About the book:
From the New Adult sensation and New York Timesbestselling author of Until You
Madoc and Fallon. Two estranged teenagers playing games that push the boundaries between love and war…
She’s back.
For the two years she’s been away at boarding school, there was no word from her. Back when we lived in the same house, she used to cut me down during the day and then leave her door open for me at night.
I was stupid then, but now I’m ready to beat her at her own game…
I’m back.
Two years and I can tell he still wants me, even if he acts like he’s better than me.
But I won’t be scared away. Or pushed down. I’ll call his bluff and fight back. That’s what he wants, right? As long as I keep my guard up, he’ll never know how much he affects me….

~My Review~
5 Stars
(Possible Spoilers)
Madoc Caruthers is everyones best friend, the party boy, the one who could crack a joke at everything in life. The only thing that could throw Madoc off his game, get under his skin, is
His stepsister.
The girl he has loved for a long time.
The girl who ripped out his heart.
Fallon Pierce
Fallon has come back to town after ruining years earlier. She left with a secret. With heartache. Now she's back, ready to face Madoc and all she left behind.
The connection between Fallon & Madoc is a strong one.
They go from calm and steady, to full blown chaos. And I loved every minute of it.
Fallon is a strong character who has faced heartache, from the lies she's had to keep close, from losing Madoc, and the struggles she deals with form her family. She is a beautiful, tough, spunky, women who stands her ground and grows into someone that she is proud of.
"But breaking was beautiful. It hurt, and it was an uphill climb back to sanity, but you came back stronger, fiercer, and more solid than you were before."
Madoc is so much more than the goofy best friend, that everyone just cant help but love. He's vulnerable and has faced his own heartbreak. Losing Fallon, trying to live up the his fathers expectations, and being the friend everyone can go to for anything.
Rival will rip out your heart, with the heartache, lies, & secrets between them.
They make you clutch you stomach from laughter, the witty banter, arguments, and the things that come out of Madoc's mouth.
You'll be fanning yourself, after reading hot, sex scenes.
You'll shed a tear or two and want to shake them.
But in the end you'll fall in love with them. You'll root and cheer to see them have a happy ending.
"You've always wanted me. You know why? Because I don't try to kill your demons. I run with them."
"And I never stopped wanting you."
Madoc's cocky attitude and dirty mouth are front and center.
We get to dive more into the parents stories that are interlaced through out the story.
Seeing more of all the friends, and how there relationships fare in certain moments, and when secrets come to light.
Make for a amazing chapter to one of my favorite series.
Madoc, Fallon, and the gang, Jared, Tate, Jax & K.C. always up the fun in each book.
Fast cars, long kisses in the rain, family drama, and life long friends.
