**BOOK REVIEW** Bully (Fall Away #1) by Penelope Douglas

About the book:

My name is Tate. He doesn't call me that, though. He would never refer to me so informally, if he referred to me at all. No, he'll barely even speak to me.

But he still won't leave me alone.

We were best friends once. Then he turned on me and made it his mission to ruin my life. I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got more sadistic as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to stay out of his way. I even went to France for a year, just to avoid him.

But I'm done hiding from him now, and there's no way in hell I'll allow him to ruin my senior year. He might not have changed, but I have. It's time to fight back.

I'm not going to let him bully me anymore.

~My Review~
5 Stars
(Possible Spoilers)

Bully is defiantly in my top ten favorite series of all time! Filled with angst, unforgettable characters, griping story lines & and one Jared Trent.

Tatum Brandt has spent years being the object of Jared Trent's torment. The boy she once though of as her best friend, her rock. The boy she loved. But that all change one summer. He left and came back a different person. And every chance he had he made her life in and out of school miserable.

"Jared indulged in my misery like it was candy. He had fed me to the wovels time and again, reveling in the unhappiness he caused. Jared, my friend, was completely gone, leaving a cold monster in his place."

But not anymore. Tate has spent the last year away from home. And she's back with a tougher backbone and a sharper mouth. Jared Trent just might have met his match. Finally.

Tate is sick of Jared and his best friend Madoc's Bullshit. This year will be a good one for her. Anything they throw at her, she'll take, and give it right back.
But she's having a hard time with that. She has Jared, still ruining her chance at a relationship. Madoc constantly playing games. And even her best friend K.C. is started to get closer to Jared. More pissed than ever, Tate wants to make Jared hurt. Just like he's done to her over and over again.

But as infuriating as Jared Trent may be, Tate has taken notice and can't deny how much Jared has grown up. He's a Tall, Sexy, Brooding Man, one she wants to punch & kiss.

And she doesn't seem to be the only one who feels that way. Jared is starting to take notice in her too. The raw passion and tension seeps through the pages. The way they start to explore this new side to there relationship is extremely hot.

"I Want to touch you." His words were against my mouth now. "I want to feel what's mine. What's always been mine."

But with all the new male attention Tate gets, Jared grows more jealous. And becomes more intense.
No matter how much Jared has pushed Tate away, or hurt her, she cant forget that she did love him at one time. And wonders if he feels the same way, if he ever did.

"You were my tempest, my thunder cloud, my tree in the downpour. I loved all of those things, and I loved you. But now? You're a fucking drought. I thought that all assholes drove German cars, but it turns out that pricks in Mustangs can still leave scars."

And the more Tate pushes Jared, the more she gets under his skin. The more she learns about that summer that changed there friendship.
Jared has a lot to make up for, a lot to fix when it comes to Tate. But he'll go above and beyond to prove to her that his love for her never disappeared. He just lost him self for awhile.

"Yesterday kept following me. And tomorrow, the new day, never seemed to come."

Jared & Tate's relationship is a very up and down ride.
Very tense & sexy.
Full of angst.

"I love you more than myself, more than my own family for Christ's sake. I don't want to take another step in this world without you next to me."

I could go on all day about the brilliance of this book! Between the sassy, kick you in the balls ;) main character, who is a Awesome female character. To the Hot, brooding, scared, main guy. The hot car races. Fights & kick-ass music. Bully is a great introduction the the Fall Away Series!
All the sexiness, racing, fights, funny friends, drama, heartache, tears, & love. Make for a book you'll read over and over again.

"The thunder rumbled in the night, reminding me of my monologue and how Jared and I had come full circle. We were friends again, and also more.
I was his. And he was mine."
